About Coach Mike Rangel - Founder of PlyoCity Youth Development
Mike Rangel has been studying and training athletes for over 27 years. As a “High Flyer” at Long Beach State on the men’s volleyball team in the 70’s, Mike was recognized as someone who truly understood jumping.

Why Plyo?

Team practice alone is no longer enough to develop the necessary skills to be successful in today's Junior, Senior, High or College Sports Programs. You need to exceed what is required from yourself to rise above the competition, and improve your overall game. The few that are able to do this are usually the ones who will advance to the next level.

You must take ownership of your abilities. It's your responsibility to develop the individual skills that will take your game to a higher level - not your coach. He has the whole team concept to develop and evaluate how you fit into it. "Champions are made outside of practice!"
